The Certified Scrum Master (CSM) learning is a highly interactive, in-depth approach to covering the values and principles of Agile, and the theory, practices and rules of Scrum. It provides practical guidance for adopting Scrum and continuously improving your organisation.

Incorporating Scrum principles and practices takes diligence, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Scrum is a framework, not a prescriptive methodology. This course will help you understand Agile, Scrum and more.

However, it goes beyond this to prepare the learner in becoming a great ScrumMaster. It gives participants hands-on experience using Scrum and closes with a Certification exam so, you come away with an industry certificate that recognises you as a ScrumMaster ready to start being in service to the Development Team, Product Owner and Organisation.

Their effectiveness and influence as a servant leader are tangible and measurable in the value of each product increment delivered within each Sprint cycle which is at the heart of Scrum.

What will you receive?

Following successful completion of the course through full attendance and participation in the group exercises, each participant will be registered with the Scrum Alliance. There is an exam for this accreditation and you will receive an email from the Scrum Alliance with details after the course. This certification includes two-year membership of the Scrum Alliance, where additional member-only material and information is available.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

None. This course is not tech-centric, everyone is welcome.

How should I prepare for this course?

Come in with an open mind to be challenged and the willingness to work with your fellow learners.

Will I need any equipment for the Course?

You will need to install Zoom application version, as the web version does not have all the features needed. You will also need access to google docs suite and especially the tool called Jamboard.

What about exams and assessments?

Attendance and active participation across the course days will result in the registration for the Certified ScrumMaster® exam. 

The exam consists of 50 question CSM test and answers 37 out of the 50 questions correctly within the 60-minute time limit to pass.

 

After you pass the CSM test, you will be asked to accept the CSM License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile

Then and only then, upon successful completion of the exam and the formality of accepting the license agreement, attendees will hold Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) status.

What is the Course Schedule?

We have taken our 2 day course and reinvented it for online, with 2 trainers and plenty of interaction and practical content. The course will run to a comfortable 10:00am - 16:00pm schedule over 3 days to enable really deep learning along with some space to fit in other aspects of your life. There will also be regular breaks for tea and coffee and to stretch your legs.
