Course Name: Certified Scrum Master®
Course Length: 4 * 4hr half-days online.
Program Name: Advanced Certified Scrum Master®
Program Length: Self-paced mentoring lead program.
The Scrum Alliance® Certified Scrum Master® (CSM) learning is a highly interactive, in-depth approach to covering the values and principles of Agile, and the theory, practices and rules of Scrum. It provides practical guidance for adopting Scrum and continuously improving your organisation.
Incorporating Scrum principles and practices takes diligence, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Scrum is a framework, not a prescriptive methodology. This course will help you understand Agile, Scrum and more.
However, it goes beyond this to prepare the learner in becoming a great Scrum Master. It gives participants hands-on experience using Scrum and closes with a Certification exam. You come away with an industry certificate that recognises you as a Scrum Master ready to start being in service to the Development Team, Product Owner and Organisation.
Their effectiveness and influence as a servant leader are tangible and measurable in the value of each product increment delivered within each Sprint cycle which is at the heart of Scrum.
The A-CSM is included in the price and is our self-paced mentoring program, from which you will deepen your expertise and journey with other Scrum Masters while receiving guidance from our Scrum Alliance® Certified Agile Coaches.
Through the mentorship of this A-CSM, you’ll self-develop and self-validate your learnings to:
This is a mentorship program towards your Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) certification. It is not a multi-day course, and it is not validated through one on one coaching sessions.
The learning objectives will be self-learned and then validated in multiple mentorship sessions with the Scrum Alliance approved Educators to obtain this certification.
NOTE: To gain the A-CSM certification you will be required to attest to having obtained 12-months plus experience as a Scrum Master. The A-CSM program can be taken at any time after completing your CSM certification.
However, you must have at least 12-months of Scrum Master work experience (even if you have not had a CSM for 12 months) logged into your Scrum Alliance profile before you are eligible to receive your A-CSM certification.
During the CSM course, attendees will learn why such a seemingly simple process as Scrum can profoundly affect an organization. Participants gain practical experience working with Scrum tools and activities.
Participants leave knowing how to apply Scrum to all sizes of products, from a single collocated team to a large, highly distributed team.
