Frequently Asked Questions
Can I participate if I have no prior Agile Product or Scrum experience?
Scrum knowledge from training or working in Scrum Teams for a long time is expected (despite the title, this is not a beginner's course). A concise understanding of the Scrum Guide means you should have read it thoroughly. We shall also send you a link to LeSS Scrum Guide so, you can read that as well.
However, fear not; if you don't have that experience, then reading the Scrum Guide reading it thoroughly may be good enough.
If, you do feel you need more knowledge, then you can try our Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) to bridge your
How should I prepare for this Certified LeSS Basics® course?
Come in with an open mind to be challenged and the willingness to work with your fellow learners.
You should sign up for a FREE tool such as AI, Zoom, and Mural before the course begins, as we shall be using these during the course.
You should have a great internet connection via fast Wi-Fi or hard-wired Ethernet cable. If possible, a second monitor is a helpful option.
What about exams and certifications?
This course has no exam, but you must attend and participate fully to receive certification. Ensure your webcam is on so we can see it's you!
You’ll be recommended to the LeSS Company for your Certified LeSS Basics® (CLB®) upon successful completion.
Only then, upon successful acceptance of the license agreement, will attendees hold Certified LeSS Basics® (CLB®) status.
At the time of writing, the CLB cert is permanent and does not require renewal.

What software or tools do I need to attend?
You’ll need access to Zoom and Mural. Make sure to install the latest Zoom desktop/laptop software (not web or mobile versions), have a stable internet connection, and a working microphone and webcam.
Don’t forget, Web cameras must stay on during the course.
How can I pay for the course in different currencies, and is there a Tax?
