Some classes may be delivered by Rickard Jones (CST, CTC, LeSS Trainer, ICAgile Trainer — 20+ years, co-author of the AgileHR Manifesto). All trainers at Agile Affinity are practising coaches with real-world credentials.

Do I need any prior Agile or Scrum experience?

No. This course is designed for complete beginners as well as people with informal Scrum experience. We start from the fundamentals and build up. All you need is a willingness to learn and take part in interactive exercises.

What if I don’t pass the exam?

With a 99% first-time pass rate, this is very unlikely — but you’re covered either way. The exam includes one free reattempt from the Scrum Alliance. The exam is 50 multiple-choice questions with a pass mark of 37 out of 50, and we run mock questions throughout the course so nothing will surprise you.

How does this differ from other CSM courses?

Three things set us apart. First, we integrate AI tools into the course — you’ll learn practical techniques other CSM graduates won’t have. Second, every booking includes a free one-on-one coaching session after the course. Third, our Certified Scrum Trainers coach real teams every week, so the teaching is grounded in field experience, not just certification knowledge.

How should I prepare?

No pre-reading or prior certification is needed. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to work with your fellow learners. If you have a real challenge from your current work, bring it — we’ll help you apply what you learn.

How many people will be in the class?

We deliberately keep class sizes small to ensure meaningful interaction with your trainer and fellow learners. This is one of the key differences between training with Agile Affinity and larger global providers — you get direct access to your trainer, not a passive seat in a large webinar.

Are the sessions recorded?

No. The course is fully live and interactive — breakout rooms, group exercises, and real-time discussion are central to the learning. This is a hands-on experience, not a lecture you can watch later. The Scrum Alliance requires full attendance across both days for certification.

What software do I need?

You’ll need the latest Zoom desktop application (not the web or mobile version) and a browser for Mural. You’ll also need a stable internet connection and a working microphone and webcam — cameras must stay on during the course.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase (before completing the exam). If your schedule changes, you can transfer your booking to a future class at no extra cost — just let us know at least 5 working days before the course starts.

Can my employer pay, or can I get an invoice?
